The Prodigy's Leeroy Thornhill Announces Upcoming Memoir

Leeroy Thornhill of The Prodigy has announced the release of his memoir, “Wildfire: My Ten Years Getting High in the Prodigy”. The book will detail Thornhill’s experiences with the band from 1990 to 2000 and include unseen photographs from the period.

Thornhill, who served as a DJ, dancer, and keyboardist for The Prodigy, describes Wildfire as a collection of personal images and memories from the band’s early years. The memoir aims to capture the essence of The Prodigy’s unique sound and energetic live performances, which played a significant role in their global rise. The book’s biography refers to The Prodigy as “rave pioneers” whose music also integrated elements of hip hop, punk, and rock.

The release of Wildfire coincides with the fifth anniversary of the passing of The Prodigy’s frontman, Keith Flint. Published by White Rabbit Books, the memoir is set for release in September 2024, with 1500 copies available for pre-order now.
