Positiva Records Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Relaunch
**Dance label Positiva Records has announced a significant relaunch to coincide with its 30th anniversary. The label, known for its influence in electronic music since its founding in 1993, is focusing on delivering new music with a mix of rising talents and legendary artists, aiming to maintain its forward-thinking approach to the genre.
Positiva, under the EMI umbrella, has been a pivotal force in the dance music scene, releasing timeless tracks across genres like house, trance, garage, and techno. The anniversary relaunch includes a string of new releases, featuring collaborations and remixes from artists such as The Chemical Brothers, ARTBAT, Sub Focus, Gorgon City, and more. Additionally, Positiva plans to host a series of takeovers at Mixmag’s The Lab LDN, spotlighting artists like Max Dean, who recently performed his remix of Azari & III’s ‘Reckless’.
To further commemorate the anniversary, the label is also launching a new range of merchandise, including vinyl releases and clothing designed by Hot Cake. Parent label EMI will continue to expand its output in the dance scene, collaborating with artists like SG Lewis and Duke Dumont as part of its future plans.
