Louie Vega to Auction Rare Musical Memorabilia

Grammy-winning DJ and producer Louie Vega will auction off a selection of rare music memorabilia from his personal collection later this month.

The auction, hosted by music platform Wax Poetics, opens for bidding on 27 May and includes test pressings, instruments, and custom jewellery from his four-decade career in the music industry.

This is the second release in the Louie Vega Collection, following an earlier auction in April. Among the standout items are a limited edition 14K white gold pendant encrusted with 290 natural diamonds, valued at approximately $8,500, and studio equipment such as a Roland FP-8 keyboard and an Allen & Heath Xone V6 Mixer used on international tours.

Also available are exclusive test pressings, including a Masters at Work remix of Simply Red’s Thrill Me, and 50 pieces of original studio artwork. Vega described the items as “a part of my creative journey”, emphasising their personal and professional significance. Registration to participate in the auction is currently open.
