GoFundMe Campaign Launched for Ashley Beedle
A GoFundMe campaign has been created for house DJ and producer Ashley Beedle, following serious health complications.
The funds raised aim to ease the financial burden of Beedle’s ongoing healthcare needs after a series of medical challenges left him requiring full-time care.
Ashley Beedle has been battling stage four prostate cancer for four years. In November 2023, he experienced a brain bleed and seizure caused by a brain mass, leading to a stroke during emergency surgery. These events resulted in Beedle losing the ability to move his right leg and arm, and he is now wheelchair-bound. While his speech is slowly returning thanks to NHS support, his mobility will not recover, leaving him in need of extensive care.
Beedle’s family has launched the GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of physiotherapy, specialised equipment, and other care needs. With a 35-year career in dance music, Beedle is known for his influence in the industry, including his work with Black Science Orchestra and X-Press 2. The fundraiser has already raised over £40,000 towards its £50,000 target.
