Faithless Release Tribute to Maxi Jazz in New Single
Faithless have released a new single, ‘I’m Not Alone (Rest Well Maxwell)’, in honour of their late frontman Maxi Jazz, who passed away in 2022. The emotional track, which features vocals from LSK, dropped on August 30, coinciding with the 26th anniversary of their iconic song ‘God Is A DJ’. This release follows their previous track, ‘Find a Way’, and teases their forthcoming album ‘Champion Sound’.
The single arrives alongside the announcement of a 21-date UK and European tour, set to start in November 2024. The ‘Champion Sound’ tour will begin in Edinburgh and make stops across the UK before moving to cities in Europe, including Antwerp, Zurich, Milan, and Amsterdam. This marks the band’s first major tour since returning to the stage earlier this year, following an eight-year hiatus.
Faithless, now without Maxi Jazz, have embraced a new era of their career. They performed a headline set at Glastonbury in 2024, showcasing their latest lineup alongside a seven-piece live band. With the ‘Champion Sound’ project encompassing both a new album and tour, the group is gearing up to celebrate their 30th anniversary, continuing their legacy as pioneers in electronic music.
