Defected Records Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Vinyl Boxset and Book

Defected Records is commemorating its 25th anniversary with the release of a limited edition vinyl boxset and a new collector’s book.

The label, known for championing house music, is marking this milestone with “Defected: 25 Years In The House,” a coffee table book, and the ‘Together’ vinyl boxset. Both releases reflect the label’s evolution and its impact on the global music scene.

The 25-chapter book, written by Nick Gordon Brown, traces the label’s journey through its origins, financial struggles, and some of its iconic releases. Featuring interviews with key figures from the Defected community, the book offers an insider’s look at the label’s contribution to house music over the last quarter-century. It will be available for £50 from Defected’s store next month.

Alongside the book, the vinyl boxset, priced at £150, features 25 tracks and remixes from prominent artists, including Idris Elba, Todd Edwards, and Dennis Ferrer.
